Y-Type Filter:

The Y-type filter is a coarse filter for pipelines, suitable for filtering large particles in liquids, gases, or other media.

Installed on the pipeline, it removes larger solid impurities from the fluid, ensuring the normal operation of machinery and equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments, thereby stabilizing the process and ensuring safe production.

When the fluid enters the filter cartridge with a specified mesh, the impurities are blocked, and the clean filtrate is discharged from the filter outlet. When cleaning is needed, the removable filter cartridge can be taken out, cleaned, and reinstalled, making it very convenient for use and maintenance.

Installation and Maintenance:
1. The Y-type filter can be installed horizontally or vertically. The direction of the inlet and outlet should be consistent with the direction of the arrow on the valve body.
2. After the filter has been in operation for a period of time, a certain amount of impurities will accumulate in the filter element, increasing the pressure drop and reducing the flow rate. The impurities in the filter element need to be cleaned in a timely manner.
3. When cleaning impurities, pay special attention to not deforming or damaging the stainless steel wire mesh on the filter element. Otherwise, the filter, when reinstalled, will not meet the designed purity of the medium, and equipment like compressors, pumps, and instruments may be damaged.
4. If any deformation or damage to the stainless steel wire mesh is found, it should be replaced immediately.
