What is Wedge Wire Panel
This innovative type of stainless steel polyurethane composite wedge wire panel is made using stainless steel round wires of E200 material, pressed into wedge-shaped wires.
These are welded to stainless steel convex support ribs using either thermal plastic drum resistance welding or argon arc welding processes. The frame is vulcanized with polyurethane material.
The convex support ribs replace the stainless steel convex wires, eliminating the welding step for support ribs during assembly. The outer frame can be customized according to user requirements.
Advantages:
- High rigidity: Ensures structural stability.
- Low magnetic susceptibility: Reduces interference in magnetic environments.
- Sound absorption and vibration reduction: Improves operational efficiency.
- Prevention of oversize particle loss: Ensures product consistency.
- Ease of installation and removal: Simplifies maintenance and operational downtime.
- Especially suitable for dewatering operations in heavy-medium coal preparation plants.
Disadvantages:
- Complex manufacturing process: Requires advanced techniques and precision.
- Limited technical expertise: Makes production quality harder to ensure.
- Challenges in welding: During rotary welding with drum resistance, convex support ribs are prone to misalignment, affecting product quality and appearance.
- High production cost: Due to intricate manufacturing processes.
- Difficulty in leveling: The panel is hard to level, and post-leveling results may be unsatisfactory.
- Limited availability: Few manufacturers have the capability for this process, which limits widespread application.
Application Guidelines:
- Best suited for dewatering and medium removal in vibrating screens and banana screens.
