The welded wedge wire panel is a mature yet traditional type of screen, primarily composed of stainless steel wire mesh and stainless steel flat bars or carbon steel flat bars, which are welded together to form the frame.

The stainless steel wire mesh is welded using a rotary resistance welding machine, employing wedge-shaped screen strips and convex back strips with different cross-sections or the same cross-sections, welded by resistive heat and current, following the contact resistance welding process.
