What is a Wedge Wire Panel

Wedge wire panels provide excellent filtration and dewatering performance and are widely used for solid-liquid and solid-solid separation. A wedge wire screen panel is a metallic mesh structure designed for screening and filtration purposes. It is manufactured using advanced welding techniques under strict quality control to ensure product reliability.

Advantages of Wedge Wire Panels
Unlike conventional woven wire mesh, wedge wire panels (also known as fine bar screens) offer high welding strength, slip resistance, superior hardness, good elasticity, pressure and vibration resistance, uniform slot openings, high precision, corrosion resistance, and clogging resistance.

They do not deform or collapse, are unaffected by temperature, and offer a long service life with high operational safety and low overall cost. The surface of the panel is smooth and flat, making it easy to backwash. The product also features high wear resistance.
Filtration accuracy ranges from 0.05 mm to 5 mm. The most commonly used materials are stainless steel 304 or 316L, though other materials can be selected based on customer requirements.

Applications of Wedge Wire Panels

Wedge wire panels are widely used in the processes of fine material screening, dewatering, and desliming. They are commonly found in vibrating screens, classification screens, sieve bends, gravity screens, ore screening equipment, brewing machinery, ring-type oil extractors, and wastewater treatment equipment.
