The centrifuge basket is a newly developed product in the wedge wire screen industry and is one of the mineral screening components. Due to its funnel-shaped, basket-like appearance, it is commonly referred to as a centrifuge basket.

The basket is one of the critical components of a dewatering centrifuge. As a high-speed rotating part, it must withstand both vibration loads and the severe impact of coal and water during operation. Therefore, it requires high strength and precision. The centrifuge basket is designed to meet the screening and dewatering requirements of various coal types and qualities.

Structure:

The basket primarily consists of an upper flange, lower flange, reinforcement ribs, reinforcement rings, and a stainless steel conical wedge wire screen cylinder. The conical cylinder is made by welding together multiple trapezoidal wedge wire segments. These screen panels are formed by welding specially shaped wedge wires and support rods—both made from stainless steel—using precision equipment. The wedge wires are arranged along the generatrix of the cone.
