Stainless steel wedge wire baskets can be broadly categorized into three types:

Common Type: This is the most common type found in the market, with flanges and handles, a flat shape, also known as a flat-mouthed filter basket. This type of filter basket has a wide range of applications and is cost-effective.
Inclined Type: The inclination angle is generally 45 degrees. The construction is similar to the flat-mouthed type, commonly used in basket-type filters.
Suitable for Bag Filters: This type of filter basket is designed for bag filters. It is placed inside the bag filter, and filter bags are placed inside the basket. Bag filters can contain 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, or 11 filter baskets. Bag filters come in different sizes (1#, 2#, 3#, 4#, 5#), and the most common in the market are 2# and 5#. The materials used for these products are generally stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316, and 316L, with the special option of 2205 material, known for its longer service life compared to the 3-series stainless steel.

Construction of the Wedge Wire Basket:

A typical wedge wire basket is composed of stainless steel wire mesh and perforated metal. The perforated metal is shaped, and a stainless steel mesh is added inside. The perforated metal acts as protection, while the actual filtering is done by the stainless steel wire mesh, which determines the filtering precision. For filter baskets inside bag filters, there's no need to add stainless steel woven mesh, as the basket is equipped with separate metal and non-metal filter bags, with the filter bags being the primary filtering component.
