Stainless Steel Screen

The stainless steel screen (wedge wire screen) is made of formed stainless steel wire by winding and welding. It has the advantages of simple structure, high welding strength, uniform gap, large flow area, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, not affected by temperature and pressure, safe and reliable, high degree of standardization and long service life, and the advantages of low comprehensive cost. Common screen type:

1. V-shaped large opening type: the circulation area can reach 20%-50%. The characteristics are that the sand is not easy to block, and the screen is easier to clean.

2. The slotted round tube type: the flow area is 10%, the sand is easy to get stuck, and it is difficult to clean.

3. Fish scale type: the circulation area is 30%, the sand is easy to get stuck in the gap, and it is difficult to clean.

The sand control screen of oil and water wells used to be mostly copper wire mesh, ceramsite and epoxy resin sand pipe. Due to the poor material strength, the service time is short and it has been damaged, resulting in a large number of sand production in the well, damage to the pump and affecting the crude oil production.
