What is Wedge Wire Nozzle
The wedge wire nozzle is made from stainless steel wedge wire wrapped at equal intervals and welded onto a support rod. It consists of components such as a screen tube, cover plate, nut, and washer.
Types:
Long handle nozzle, double-headed nozzle, standard nozzle, single flow rate nozzle, double flow rate nozzle. This is a new generation of water treatment equipment in the industry, featuring excellent aging resistance, pressure resistance, minimal damage, safety, and reliability, with low overall costs.
The unit price of stainless steel trapezoidal wire nozzles is several times higher than that of plastic nozzles, but their advantages far outweigh the cost. After replacing with stainless steel nozzles, there is almost no damage, resulting in a longer service life. The original plastic nozzles are prone to cracking and resin shedding, especially due to their weak strength, which can pose risks to the safe operation of equipment and the overall system.
How to Calculate the Quantity of Stainless Steel Nozzles?
-
If using old products with plastic nozzles:
You can choose nozzle specifications with similar flow rates, such as 0.5 T/H, 1.0 T/H, etc. This allows the quantity of nozzles to refer to the original design without any changes. -
For new equipment using stainless steel nozzles:
First, refer to the required flow rate for the equipment (Q1), then select the appropriate nozzle specifications (with a temporary flow rate of Q2). The total number of nozzles required for the tank is calculated as N = Q1/Q2 * 0.7 (0.7 is the filtration loss coefficient, with a reference range of 0.65 to 0.75).
