Working Principle of Sieve Bend Screen:
To ensure optimal performance of the sieve bend screen, it is crucial that the bars forming the screen panel have a sharp upper edge in contact with the material.

If the water contains abrasive substances, the upper edge of the screen panel may gradually wear down and become rounded, while the lower edge may become sharper.

In such cases, periodically flipping the screen panel upside down can help extend its service life and restore screening efficiency. The material always aligns along the direction of flow. As a result, most materials with a length greater than the slot width are retained on the screen surface and slide down to the discharge outlet.

Structural Features:
Under normal operating conditions, the screen panel causes material turbulence, enhancing the separation process. If clogging occurs due to abnormal conditions, the screen can be easily cleaned with a water jet, even during operation.

For more demanding applications, a swing-type backwashing system can be installed, which performs automatic cleaning of the entire screen surface at set intervals, ensuring consistent screening efficiency.
