Purpose of Basket Strainer:
- Suitable for water supply pipelines in hydraulic engineering, community water supply pipelines, purification in chemical processes, food processing, electronics, and other industries.
- Used in the petroleum industry for heavy crude oil dehydration and dewaxing, gas separation, and liquid purification in chemical raw materials. Also employed in purifying acidic and alkaline plating solutions in electroplating processes.

Structural Features of Basket Strainer:
- Constructed with a cylindrical metal shell made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel or carbon steel, equipped with wire mesh filter elements (optional based on user needs).
- Characteristics include corrosion resistance, long service life, and ease of cleaning and replacement.

Selection Principles for Basket Strainer:

Inlet and Outlet Diameter:
- Ideally, the inlet and outlet diameter of the strainer should not be smaller than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, generally consistent with the inlet pipe diameter.
Nominal Pressure:
- Determine the pressure rating of the strainer based on the maximum pressure (max) that may occur in the filtration pipeline.
Mesh Size Selection:
- Primarily consider the particle size of impurities to be intercepted, based on the requirements of the medium flow process.

Installation Precautions for Basket Strainer:

Pre-Installation Inspection:
- Check the integrity of all connection points before installation.
Prevent Foreign Objects:
- During installation, take precautions to prevent the entry of foreign objects into the pipeline.
