Rotary Drum Screen

Working Principle

Wastewater slowly flows into the rotary drum through the inlet. As the wastewater passes through the Rotary Drum Screen, it is filtered by the screen at the bottom of the drum, allowing the clean water to exit. Debris is trapped on the inner wall of the screen and is carried above the water surface as the drum rotates.

Rotary Drum Screen

The trapped debris is then scraped off and washed by cleaning water, falling into the collection trough in the center of the drum, and is subsequently discharged through the slag discharge chute. The rotary drum screen is suitable for industrial wastewater containing a large amount of fibrous debris, such as wastewater from textile, slaughterhouse, leather processing, and dyeing industries.

Features:

  1. Simple structure, smooth operation, easy maintenance, and long lifespan.
  2. High filtration capacity and efficiency, with a general wastewater fiber recovery rate of over 80%.
  3. Small footprint, low cost, low-speed operation, automatic protection, easy installation, water-saving, and energy-saving.
  4. Fully automatic continuous operation, requiring no dedicated personnel for supervision.
