Wedge wire nozzles are made of stainless steel or other alloy materials. They are designed to be non-clogging, highly efficient, and cost-effective, with a wide range of applications in water treatment. Different wedge wire profiles and slot sizes are suitable for various filtration requirements. The continuous slot design ensures high efficiency and long service life.

Structural Design

A wedge wire nozzle is composed of a nozzle base, nozzle cover, trapezoidal wedge wire screen with reinforcing ribs, and a flow guide tube.

At the central axis of the trapezoidal screen tube, there is an inverted flow valve cup fixed to the nozzle base. Its lower opening surrounds the upper section of the flow guide tube extending into the nozzle base.
Multiple perforations are distributed at the bottom and side walls of the valve cup, as well as on the enclosed upper wall of the guide tube.
A movable flow valve core is positioned at the top of the guide tube, capable of floating up and down.

By adjusting the flow rate of the trapezoidal screen tube, the number and size of round holes, and the spacing between them, the nozzle can meet the requirements of both backwashing and filtration under various process flow conditions.
